How does Dr. Cuddles Heal at Home Wound Gel work?

Hypochlorous acid naturally supports your pet’s immune system by stimulating collagen production helping them heal faster with less potential for infection or scarring. Its antimicrobial properties kill a wide range of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and likely anything else your furry friend might’ve gotten into. Most importantly and unlike alternative antiseptics and antibiotics, Dr. Cuddle's wound gel is non-toxic, which means lick-safe and can be used as often as needed. This works wonders for all snugglers—both dogs and cats!

Caution:

If there is significant dead tissue or debris, we recommend seeing a veterinarian for a professional cleaning as high amounts of dead tissue and debris can deactivate the hypochlorous acid. For External Use Only. For animal use only. Not for human use. If condition persists or worsens for longer than 7 days, contact your veterinarian. Discontinue use if irritation develops. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If swallowed by child, get medical help or contact poison control center immediately.

  • USES: Use for cleansing and removing foreign materials and debris from damaged skin and for the prevention and treatment of skin infections. Can be used for pre-operative and post-operative skin incisions or skin irritations. Use for cleansing minor cuts, minor scrapes and minor burns.
  • DIRECTIONS: Shake well before use/application. Apply liberally to the affected area directly or by spraying solution directly onto a lint-free pad or swab.
  • Do not spray directly into the eyes or use in the mouth.
  • Best when used with an Elizabethan collar or other device to prevent licking of the affected area and gel removal.
  • Use 2-3 times a day until the affected area has healed or is improved.

Apply a small amount around your pet’s nail beds after trimming their nails. This can help soothe any minor irritation or accidental nicks while also protecting against potential infections.
