8. Is Advantage II for Cats for Kittens?
Answer

9. What Is the Difference Between Advantage and Advantage II?
Answer
Advantage II is the successor of Advantage and comes with three new ingredients, all insect neurotoxins. Quite obviously, the new formula is more effective at getting rid of the pests than the original Advantage. The old formula was rated to kill adult fleas within 12 hours of application; however, the drawback of the Advantage flea medicine is that it only works on adult fleas and now on flea larvae or flea eggs. On the other hand, Advantage II for dogs also starts killing fleas 12 hours after the application. However, the new formulation comes with additional protection against fleas. It stops the flea life cycle as it stops larvae from developing. This means that your dog or cat gets complete flea control for 30 days at multiple flea life stages.
10. Which Is Better Frontline or Advantage?
Answer
Both Frontline and Advantage are effective oral flea medications for dogs and cats. However, there's a difference in both products. Merial manufactures Frontline and claims to get rid of 98% to 100% of fleas within 24 hours of application. The medicine is claimed to work on adult fleas and all stages of fleas, including eggs and larvae. It also takes care of the files allergy dermatitis and thus breaks the flea cycle. Frontline contains two ingredients, Fipronil and (S)-methoprene, which kills adult and immature fleas, respectively. The formulas also guard your dog against ticks, sarcoptic mange, and lice. On the other hand, Advantage is a topical product by Bayer and kills fleas within 12 hours. The medication treats fleas in all stages, as well as flea allergy dermatitis and lice. However, it doesn't treat ticks in dogs. It contains Imidacloprid, which attacks the flea's nervous system to kill it. It also has Pyriproxyfen, which is an insect growth regulator (IGR). The IGR mimics flea's juvenile growth hormone to kill it in the immature stage of the life cycle.
11. How Long Does It Take for Advantage 2 to Work on Dogs?
Answer
According to Bayer, the maker of Advantage 2, the medication starts killing fleas within 12 hours of application. The medicine remains effective for 30 days post-application and provides complete protection against fleas in all stages of its life cycle. However, if your dog has a heavy flea infestation, pet parents will have to administer the medication more than once every month. The product doesn't come with an expiry date and doesn't expire as long as it's stored as directed on the packaging.
12. Does Advantage 2 for Dogs Work?
Answer
Advantage 2 is a spot-on flea treatment for dogs that safeguard your pet against fleas and the adverse effects they cause. Reportedly, a single flea can lay as many as 50 eggs in a day, and before you know it, a single flea turns into a heavy infestation. To control these invasive pests, a fast-acting, effective flea treatment is a must. This is where Advantage 2 comes into the picture as a spot-on topical flea medication that kills fleas on contact. This means that the flea doesn't need to bite your dog for Advantage 2 to work. The Advantage 2 solution is applied in one spot on your dog, and it spreads through the lipid layer across the dog's skin and coats evenly to kill fleas within a day. Moreover, as your dog naturally sheds its fur, the active ingredient in the medication that is Imidacloprid is also shed in your home and pet's environment, thus killing flea larvae. With monthly treatment year long, the medicine provides long-term effective flea protection to protect your pet and family.
13. Is Advantage II Prescription Only?
Answer
Most spot-on flea treatment ointments like Frontline Plus, Advantage II, and K9 Advantix II are over-the-counter, which means they don't require a prescription from a veterinarian for purchase. Pet parents can purchase the medication from the local pharmacy, pet shops, or online retailers easily. However, it's worth noting here that there is an advanced product called Advantage Multi, which has a more complex formulation than Advantage and Advantage 2 and works on more parasites than just lice and flea. Advantage Multi requires a prescription from your veterinarian.
14. How Long Does Advantage 2 Last?
Answer
The Advantage 2 medication is rated to start killing fleas within 12 hours of application. Moreover, the medicine stays effective for 30 days after application to keep your pet protected against fleas in all stages of the life cycle. Furthermore, the Imidacloprid is also spread in the dog's natural environment as it sheds to kill flea larvae in your home and dog's immediate surroundings for all-around protection. The Advantage 2 medication is also waterproof, which means, post 24 hours of drying, it will stay on the body of your dog even if you bathe them.
15. Why Does My Dog Still Have Fleas After Using Advantage?
Answer
Unlike Advantage 2, Advantage only kills adult fleas. This is the main reason why your pet might still have fleas after applying the Advantage flea medication. An adult flea female can lay up to 50 eggs in a day, which soon turns into a massive infestation if not taken care of. Since Advantage is ineffective against flea eggs and larvae, you might still see fleas after application because of the flea life cycle.
16. Are there any food or drug interactions with Advantage II for dogs?
Answer
No, there are no known food interactions with Advantage II for dogs. But it's crucial to adhere to the dosage recommendations made by the drug's manufacturer and your veterinarian. However, when it comes to drug interactions, it is always best to consult with your veterinarian before giving any other medications to your dog while they are using Advantage II. This covers both over-the-counter and prescription drugs as well as herbal supplements. Some medications may interact with imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen, potentially affecting their effectiveness or causing side effects.
17. What should I do if my dog experiences any adverse reactions while taking Advantage II?
Answer
If your dog experiences any adverse reactions while taking Advantage II, it is important to stop using the medication immediately and contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.
18. Is Advantage II for dogs waterproof?
Answer
Yes, Advantage II for dogs is waterproof once it has dried on your dog's skin. The manufacturer advises not washing or letting your dog get wet for at least 24 hours after administering the medicine. If properly applied and given time to dry, Advantage II shouldn't be affected by water after 24 hours. This implies that the drug won't be affected by your dog swimming, taking a bath, or becoming wet.
19. Can I use Advantage II for dogs on my outdoor dog?
Answer
As long as the age and weight limitations outlined by the manufacturer are met, Advantage II for dogs can be used on outdoor pets. However, if your dog spends a lot of time outdoors, it may be at higher risk for flea and tick infestations, so it is important to use a flea and tick preventative consistently and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
20. Can Advantage II for dogs be used for flea allergy dermatitis prevention?
Answer
Advantage II for dogs is labeled and designed for flea control, which can help prevent flea bites that can trigger flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). Flea allergy dermatitis is an allergic reaction to flea saliva that can cause itching, redness, and inflammation of the skin. By controlling flea infestations, Advantage II can help reduce the risk of FAD in dogs that are sensitive to flea bites.
21. Can Advantage II for dogs be used for mite prevention?
Answer
No, Advantage II for dogs is not specifically designed or labeled for mite prevention. The active ingredients in Advantage II, imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen, are primarily intended for flea and tick control.
22. Can Advantage II for dogs be used for heartworm prevention?
Answer
No, Advantage II for dogs is not marketed nor intended for the prevention of heartworms. Imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen, the active components in Advantage II, are primarily used to control flea and tick populations.
23. Can Advantage II for dogs be used for hookworm prevention?
Answer
No, Advantage II for dogs is not labeled or designed for hookworm prevention. The active ingredients in Advantage II, imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen, are primarily intended for flea and tick control.

Answer

26. What should I do if my healthy dog accidentally ingests Advantage II?
Answer
If your healthy dog accidentally ingests Advantage II, you should contact your veterinarian or a pet poison control center immediately for guidance. Ingestion of insecticides, including those found in flea and tick preventatives, can be toxic to dogs and may cause a range of symptoms, depending on the amount ingested and the size and health of your dog. Symptoms of toxicity from Advantage II may include drooling, vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, seizures, and respiratory distress. In severe instances, ingestion of large amounts of insecticide can be life-threatening. If you have the packaging or label information for the product, have it handy when you call your veterinarian or poison control center.
27. Can Advantage II for dogs be used on other animals besides dogs?
Answer
No, Advantage II for dogs is solely intended for use on dogs and is labeled as such. Cats should not be subjected to it since it could not be safe or effective for them. Some drugs that are safe and effective for dogs may be hazardous for cats because dogs and cats have distinct physiological and metabolic systems. Additionally, it's critical to use the appropriate medication for each specific animal because the doses and concentrations of the active components in flea and tick preventatives may vary between species.
28. How do you prevent fleas on cats?
Answer
Preventing fleas on cats involves a combination of regular preventive measures, environmental management, and proper hygiene. Consult your veterinarian to select an appropriate flea-preventive product for your cat. Options include topical treatments, oral medications, and flea collars. Follow the instructions carefully when applying or administering these products. If you have multiple pets, make sure to treat all of them for fleas, even if only one shows signs of infestation. This prevents fleas from spreading among your pets. Regularly vacuum your home, paying close attention to areas where your cat spends a lot of time. This helps remove flea eggs, larvae, and pupae from the environment. Be sure to discard the vacuum bag or empty the canister to prevent re-infestation. Launder your cat's bedding, blankets, and any other fabric items your cat comes into contact with regularly. Use hot water and dry on high heat to kill any fleas and eggs present. Regularly combing your cat's fur with a flea comb can help remove adult fleas and their eggs. Dip the comb in soapy water after each pass to drown the fleas. Remember to focus on areas like the neck, tail base, and underbelly. If your cat goes outdoors, consider limiting their access to high-risk areas such as tall grass, wooded areas, and areas frequented by other animals. These places are more likely to harbor fleas. Regularly mow your lawn and trim vegetation to reduce flea habitats in your yard. Keep outdoor areas free of debris and regularly remove pet waste. In severe infestations, you may need to treat your home and yard with insecticides. Consult a professional pest control service to ensure safe and effective treatment.
29. How can I keep fleas off my cat naturally?
Answer
While natural methods may not be as effective as pharmaceutical products, they can still provide some level of flea prevention. Regularly comb your cat's fur with a flea comb to physically remove adult fleas and their eggs. Dip the comb in a mixture of water and dish soap after each pass to drown the fleas. Use a gentle, natural shampoo specifically designed for cats and add some natural flea-repellent ingredients such as neem oil, diluted lavender oil, or diluted lemon juice. However, always use essential oils with caution, as some can be toxic to cats. Consult a veterinarian or a professional in aromatherapy for guidance on safe and appropriate use. Mix equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice in a spray bottle. Lightly spray your cat's fur, avoiding the eyes, nose, and mouth. Fleas dislike the acidic environment created by these substances. Create a homemade flea collar by placing a few drops of essential oils, such as lavender, citronella, or cedarwood, onto a soft fabric collar. Remember to use essential oils sparingly and make sure they are safe for cats. Vacuum your home frequently, paying particular attention to areas where your cat spends time. This helps remove flea eggs, larvae, and pupae from the environment. Empty the vacuum bag or clean the canister to prevent re-infestation. Regularly launder your cat's bedding and blankets using hot water and detergent. This helps eliminate fleas and their eggs. Regularly clean your home, including floors, furniture, and carpets, to reduce flea habitats. Focus on areas where your cat spends time. Keep your outdoor areas tidy by regularly mowing the lawn, removing debris, and minimizing potential flea habitats. Trim vegetation and create barriers to prevent wild animals from entering your yard. Food-grade diatomaceous earth can be sprinkled in areas where fleas are likely to hide, such as carpets, bedding, and furniture. This fine powder is abrasive to fleas and dehydrates them, eventually causing their demise. Be cautious when using it and follow the instructions to avoid inhalation.
30. What smell do cat fleas hate?
Answer
Citrus scents, such as lemon, orange, and grapefruit, are known to repel fleas. You can use citrus essential oils or create a homemade spray by diluting citrus juice with water and lightly spraying it on your cat's fur (avoiding the eyes, nose, and mouth). Fleas tend to dislike the scent of lavender. You can use lavender essential oil diluted with water or create sachets filled with dried lavender flowers and place them near your cat's resting areas. Eucalyptus oil is known for its flea-repelling properties. However, it's important to note that eucalyptus oil should be used with caution around cats, as it can be toxic to them. Consult a veterinarian for guidance on safe usage. Fleas are believed to be deterred by the strong smell of peppermint. You can create a peppermint spray by diluting peppermint essential oil with water and lightly misting your cat's fur (avoiding the face). The scent of rosemary is known to repel fleas. You can make a rosemary infusion by boiling fresh rosemary leaves in water, straining the liquid, and allowing it to cool. Then, use the infusion to spray your cat's fur or add it to bathwater when bathing your cat.
31. Should I bathe my cat if it has fleas?
Answer
Bathing your cat can be a helpful part of flea control, especially if your cat has a significant flea infestation. Choose a cat-specific flea shampoo that is designed to kill fleas on contact. Avoid using shampoos meant for other animals or products that are not specifically formulated for cats, as they may contain ingredients that are toxic to cats. Adams Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo contains active ingredients like pyrethrins and piperonyl butoxide, which help kill fleas, ticks, and lice on contact. It also contains aloe vera and lanolin to soothe and moisturize the skin. Sentry PurrScriptions Flea & Tick Shampoo is formulated to kill fleas and ticks on cats and kittens over 12 weeks old. It contains pyrethrins as the active ingredient and has a pleasant coconut berry fragrance. Vet's Best Flea and Tick Waterless Bath Foam is not a traditional shampoo. This waterless foam is a convenient option for cats who may not tolerate full baths. It is formulated with natural plant-based ingredients like peppermint oil and eugenol to kill fleas, flea eggs, and ticks on contact. TropiClean Natural Flea & Tick Shampoo uses natural ingredients such as clove oil, lemongrass oil, and cedarwood oil to repel and kill fleas, ticks, and larvae. It is formulated without harsh chemicals and is safe for cats and kittens over 12 weeks old. Natural Chemistry Natural Flea & Tick Shampoo for Cats is made with natural botanical extracts such as cinnamon oil, cedarwood oil, and clove oil to kill fleas and ticks effectively. It is suitable for cats and kittens over 12 weeks old.
32. What kills cat fleas and their eggs?
Answer
Consult with your veterinarian to obtain prescription flea treatments for your cat. These treatments often come in the form of topical solutions, oral medications, or collars. They contain active ingredients that not only kill adult fleas but also disrupt the flea life cycle by preventing the development of eggs and larvae. Advantage II is a popular spot-on treatment that provides monthly protection against fleas. It contains the active ingredients imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen, which kill adult fleas, prevent flea eggs from hatching, and control infestations. It is available in different formulations based on your cat's weight. Frontline Plus is another spot-on treatment that kills fleas, flea eggs, and ticks. It contains the active ingredients fipronil and (S)-methoprene. Frontline Plus is applied between the shoulder blades and provides protection for a month. Revolution is a topical medication that offers protection against fleas, heartworms, ear mites, and certain other parasites. It contains the active ingredient selamectin, which is applied to the skin between the shoulder blades once a month. Bravecto is an oral medication that provides protection against fleas and ticks for up to 12 weeks. It contains the active ingredient fluralaner and comes in a tasty chewable tablet. Comfortis is an oral tablet that kills fleas for a month. The active ingredient spinosad starts working within 30 minutes of administration. It is given with food to ensure proper absorption. Capstar is an oral medication that starts killing fleas on cats within 30 minutes. It contains the active ingredient nitenpyram and is effective for up to 24 hours. Capstar is often used as a short-term solution to provide immediate relief from fleas.

At each spot, part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and release a portion of the Advantage II solution directly on the skin. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog.
  • Use only one applicator per treatment.
Tip:

Under normal conditions Advantage II is effective for a month. However, in case of severe flea infestation, retreatment may be necessary earlier than four weeks. Do not re-treat dogs more often than once every 7 days.

The veterinarian recommended solution prevents the growth of flea infestation and controls the existing fleas. Advantage II for Cats solution breaks the flea life cycle and prevents future flea infestations. The killing action of this easy-to-apply medication starts within 12 hours of its application. Advantage II for Cats solution is waterproof and odorless and one topical application can last for a month.
2. How to Apply Advantage II for Cats?
Answer
Advantage II for Cats is a topical solution. You can administer the solution once a month and it gives coverage for the entire period of thirty days. You can administer the solution directly to the skin of the pets. The solution pours out through the applicator tube and you can apply it at the spots of infestation. The dosage of Advantage II for Cats depends on the age, size, and body weight of your cat. Contact your veterinarian for the exact dosage that will be applicable for your cat. There are three dosage options available for your cat, namely: The Green Kitten Box - for your small kittens weighing between 2 to 5 pounds; The Orange Small Cat Box - for those who weigh between 5 to 9 pounds; The Purple Large Cat Box - for the grown-ups who weigh 9 pounds and above. The killing action of this easy-to-apply medication starts within 12 hours of application and kills fleas at every life stage. It prevents the development of the new fleas after 2 hours of application.
3. Is Advantage II Safe for Cats?
Answer
Advantage II for cats has been found to be safe for cats. But, contact your veterinarian before starting any new medication for your pets. Inform the vet about your cat’s prevailing conditions, current medications(if any), and treatments. However, the product may cause skin irritation like any other topical medication.
4. Which Is Better Frontline Plus or Advantage II for Cats?
Answer
Advantage II for cats gives protection against fleas only while Frontline Plus protects against both fleas, in their various stages and ticks. Also, Advantage II for Cats is more expensive than Frontline Plus.
5. Does Advantage II for Cats Kill Ticks?
Answer
Advantage II for Cats does not kill ticks.
6. How Often Can You Apply Advantage II for Cats?
Answer
You can administer Advantage II for Cats topically to your cat once a month and its action lasts for the next 30 days.
7. Is Advantage II Safe for Pregnant Cats?
Answer
Please consult your veterinarian before using the product on pregnant, lactating, or nursing cats. Any individual allergies or sensitivities must be considered before the application of the solution.
8. Is Advantage II for Cats for Kittens?
Answer
You can start administration of Advantage II for Cats to your kitten if it is at least 8 weeks of age and weighs 2 pounds.
24. Can Advantage II for dogs be used for roundworm prevention?
Answer
No, Advantage II for dogs is neither labeled nor intended to prevent roundworms. Imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen, the active components in Advantage II, are primarily used to control flea and tick populations.
25. How long does it take for Advantage II for dogs to work?
Answer
Advantage II for dogs begins to work within 12 hours of application, and it is designed to kill fleas and prevent flea infestations for up to 4 weeks, as well as to kill ticks and prevent reinfestations for up to 2 weeks.

I have two dogs and 1 cat. This stuffworks. I usually only have to use once every 2 or 3 months, but this year in Florida the fleas are rampant. All animals in this house have long fur, so I am having to use once a month and also treat the yard and house. Phew, these insects are terrible.

No more fleas!
Works well. May have to pick ticks off dogs, but far better flea protection than any other I've used, with less side effects for my allergy sensitive dog and numerous other dogs I have loved over the last 15 years that I've been in charge of meds for our pets.

Worked for a long time, but...
This flea top spot worked for my animals, dogs and cats, for years. I am careful to purchase the correct formula for type and size of animal. But, recently, it is not working any longer on my dogs or cats. I think possibly the fleas have developed an immunity.

Advantage II
I used Bravecto on both my dogs for many years. Close to the end of the 3 months, they would start itching. I live in the city but have a doggie door and a fenced in yard, so they go out whenever they want. But when I went to the country to stay with my parents for about 3 months, they would go out often and I found just in one outing, one of my dogs came back with 5 ticks on her; the other with more. So when put to the test, Bravecto didnt work very well. And while I havent taken them to stay at my parents for a lengthy time and using Advantage, they dont itch as much.

Advantage II for dogs
I had been using the Sorento collar for one of my fur babies for almost 2 years. For her brother I was using Advantage II for fleas and ticks because he was too little for the collar or the Bravecto I was using on my other 2 fur babies. I couldn't use Bravecto on her because of seizures. She started having more seizures and we couldn't figure out why, even after taking her to the vet. I just decided one day to take the collar off her and gave her the Advantage II. She has been on it now for 3 months without one single seizure!!! We love this product now!! Thank you Advantage II!

Yes, it really works!
I have small terriers--Yorkie, Griffon, and Cairn, 1 of each. We are flea-free. And if I forget to apply Aadvantage an scheduled time (it happens to all of us) and the scratching begins, that's my signal I've forgotten.

Waste of Money
My puppy is 12 weeks old. We bought the K9 Advantix + thinking it was the best on the market for topical apps. It does not work. She scratches worse now than before we treated her! We find full grown adult fleas on her every day. Our yard and home has been treated and I wash her bedding daily and treat it as well. The fleas must be immune to this stuff because they are still on her. I'm going for the chewable Nexguard. Don't waste your money on these topicals.

Only Flea Treatment That Works
My dog is severely allergic to flea bites. When she was diagnosed with the flea allergy our vet said that our area was number one in the US for fleas on dogs Even if one bites her she breaks out in hives and gets a bad rash that leads to an infection due to the constant scratching. This is the only flea treatment that actually works for her. It really does kill the fleas before they bite her. We wouldn't use any other flea treatment on the market.

Excellent product, price, & customer service
I've been using Advantage for years. No side effects, unlike Frontline and Advantix. I use it on all 4 of my dogs: a 6 lb. Poodle mix, a 10 lb. Chihuhua/Jack Russell mix, a Benji-type terrier mix, and a 50 lb. Lab mix. PetCareRx's prices are cheaper than all my local vet's prices, and it's delivered right to my door for free. I live in the Inland Empire in Southern California, and while we do get some ticks here, I've never found one on my dog. I believe Advantage works to repel ticks, too, even if that's not in the product claims.

I tried using Advantage in an attempt to get free goodies filling out surveys. I thought I was just going to try it and than go back to something a lot less expensive, WOW! Was in for a real mind blower. This stuff worked and worked well. Now all these years later I am still impressed and won't allow anything else near the girls and they dont rub it off on me and I can still kiss and cuddle the cutties as the stuff is being applied Plus... I can still smell their perfume too.

It works tremdously!!
I have applied Advantage to my 2 yorkies and my Chiuahuaha and they have never had fleas. I was also told by my vet and a few people that using advantage flea killer on my pets will keep fleas away but will also kill the fleas in the carpet of your home used on a regular basis. That must be true, because I have not had any fleas in my home carpeting and I use advantage on a regular basis.

Tried them all and this is it...
I have two dogs and one cat and fleas were always a battle in the summer time. Other flea killer brands would reduce the number of fleas but never eliminate them. Advantage actually elminates the flea. Since we started using Advantage we have not seen one flea in our house or on our animals. AMAZING stuff! I recommend it to all that have dogs.

This is an outstanding product and it really works for my Deuce!!
I had problems with my new puppy , 4 months olds and he was infested with fleas. I bought him home had no idea and the house got infested with fleas, I tried everything , Zodiac, flea shampoo , bomers and flea power. Well the bomers worked for the house. But I was turned on to Advantage by my boss whom has 13 house dogs and found she uses advantage for all 13. she's got no flea bit and when i left her home after 3 hour visit. i had no flea bites. Advantage is an amazing flea control product and it works 5 star !!!!!

Fleas are tough...but so is advantage.
Fleas are tough to control but Advantage is one of the safest and best according to my vet who follows holistic practices. Don't expect anything to really work however, unless you control fleas in your environment - inside and out. Check with you vet first before trying this - but this is also the one that is safe to use more frequently than the once per month prescription. It may be necessary to start off that way to cut back a bad infestation.

No Fleas-Works longer than expected
I have three dogs and live in Florida where it is hot and fleas are bad most of the year, due to lack of cold weather. The only sources of fleas we get are from squirrels, raccoons and opposums because our dogs stay inside our fenced yard, but it works great, it's very easy to apply (doesn't upset the dogs) and even during summer we get about 8 weeks use out of it. I know as soon as it stops working because if there is a flea anywhere-it will bite ME!

So Easy
I've been using Advantage on my dogs for 2 years. It really worked right away my rottweiler had so many fleas, and after Advantage she's been flea free.Sometimes the "medicine" rolls off the skin and hair of my doberman (because his hair is so short and his back is so thin) but the product seems to work fine anyway. My dogs are outside all day, the explore, dig, burrow in the dirt and grass/weeds all day long and then come inside to sleep. I live in San Diego, where it's mild in the winter and hot in the summer, I only use advantage April through October, I leave it off during the cooler months. I haven't had any problems with fleas.

BEST FLEA CONTROL ON THE MARKET
WHEN USED PROPERLY, ADVANTAGE FLEA CONTROL IS THE BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET. IT IS SAFE AND CAN BE USED EVERY THREE WEEKS WHEN THERE IS A BAD OUTBREAK. BECAUSE OF THE INGREDIENT THAT PARALYZES THE MOUTH OF THE FLEA, IT IS EXCELLENT FOR PETS THAT HAVE MILD TO SEVERE FLEA ALLERGIES. THEY CANT BITE THE DOG OR CAT AND THEREFORE CANT INJECT THE ALLERGINS INTO THE PET CAUSING THE SEVERE ITCHING.

Dog Advantage Also Works for Cats - LOVE!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Advantage!!!! Highly recommend using gloves when applying, because it is a chemical. My animals also get a bit uncomfortable after application, but it is well worth the outcome! Also you can use dog advantage on cats, but you need to know the weight of the cat & the formula/ratio of medicine to give them - ask your vet! I buy the largest/blue Advantage for my dogs and I use it for my cats. I just use the vet's formula. It saves money!!! LOVE ADVANTAGE - but for tick infestation (for dogs) Frontline works better. You can't use Frontline for dogs on cats - only Advantage!!!
