HISTORY
During the height of bull baiting in the 19th century, the cross between bulldogs and terriers became exceedingly popular, due to their estimated superiority in the ring. As it would happen, this breed, the Bull Terrier, was not as effective as people had thought, but they still held their own as a guard, ratting, herding, and watchdog. Eventually, it became possible to isolate the white haired gene, allowing the affluent gentry to have the designer dog of their dreams. A few years later, the so called White Cavalier was bred down in size, in an attempt to maintain this breed's special characteristics, but in a smaller, more manageable, package. And that is how the Miniature Bull Terrier was born.

Personality
The Miniature Bull Terrier we have now is much calmer and more personable than the Bull Terriers of old. This brave, playful, friendly breed grows very close to their owner, often having trouble spending large amounts of the day alone. They can be a very obedient breed, but need a firm hand during training, otherwise they may become destructive and unruly. They are not snappy with kids, but may have too much energy to be around little children. They are also not good with other pets. .
Color
The Bull Terrier can either be pure white (White Bull Terrier) or any other color, assuming they aren't covered in markings (Colored Bull Terrier).
Health Concerns
Some problems associated with the breed are:

Appearance
The Bull Terrier is a densely packed, muscular dog. They are low to the ground, and widely set, making them look like a defensive lineman or a Jeep. Their very distinctive head looks like a wedge, with tiny eyes like a shark. Their ears are tiny and close together. They have a long, tree trunk of a neck that meets with their wide set shoulders. Their fur is short, dense, flat, and rough.
